At the recently opened 2025 Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition, a "smart gear knob" integrating touch control, dynamic display, and intelligent interaction attracted widespread attention. Jointly developed by domestic auto parts company Huaqi Zhilian and a new energy brand, this product integrates OLED display and pressure-sensing technology into a traditional gear knob design for the first time.

The new gear knob automatically changes color and pattern based on driving mode, such as a red dynamic light effect in Sport mode and a blue breathing light in Eco mode. Furthermore, a built-in touch area allows for quick operations, such as switching driving modes with a single tap and long pressing to activate automatic parking, greatly enhancing the human-machine interaction experience.

Industry experts indicate that gear knobs are evolving from traditional mechanical components to "intelligent interactive terminals" and may integrate fingerprint recognition, temperature sensing, and even health monitoring functions in the future, becoming a key entry point into the in-vehicle digital ecosystem.
